Welcome to DFMHouse! We're so happy you decided to drop by. Take off your coat and stay awhile!! Feel free to wander through our rooms, designed with you in mind. You should find everything you need right within our four walls. Please make yourself at home. Our house is your house!

Dr. David Price

We are pleased to introduce you to DFMhouse, a new initiative of the Department of Family Medicine.

DFMhouse is a comprehensive intranet that allows you to connect with the entire Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University. The “house” is designed with different rooms to suit the varied interests of our staff and faculty. Visit the Clinical Den for clinical discussions; go to the Kitchen to hear about staff updates; drop by the Library to view recent presentations…explore DFMhouse to find the rooms that interest you.

You will have easy access to:

  • A comprehensive Faculty and Staff directory, listing ALL staff, faculty, learners and affiliates within the Department
  • Department Policies and Procedures
  • Faculty presentations
  • Research information
  • Upcoming events
  • Clinical discussion forums

We are also hoping DFMhouse will be a home for the professional and administrative staff that support all our clinical and scholarly work. In the DFMhouse’s kitchen will be recipes, pot luck photos and restaurant reviews. Trying to sell that old lawn mower or paddle boat? Post a classified in the DFMhouse garage!

DFMhouse can be accessed with your username and password. Your profile, which includes space for a short bio, including special clinical interests etc, is easy to modify. This ensures that your contact information, interests and achievements are always up to date. Don’t have a login and password? Click here for further information.
